What is the forum?
The forum is an easy to use, organised message system. It allows anyone in the county to post message to our web site in a safe and controlled manner.
How do I register?
- Click on the ‘Register’ link at the top of the forum.
- Click on ‘I agree to these terms’ at the bottom of the form.
- Complete the fields as follows:
- Username = Please create your username from your actual name, so a username for John Smith would be jsmith. Use other characters where necessary.
- E-mail address = A valid email address that you use.
- Password = A password chosen by yourself that can be used with your username to authenticate yourself with the Forum.
- Confirm Password = Re-enter your chosen password so that what you think you typed as a password is actually what has been typed.
- Please make a note of your username and password!
- Scouting Position = if you have one, please enter it here.
- Leave all other field blank and click on ‘Submit’ button at the bottom of the form.
- You will receive a message saying that your account has been created but needs to be activated by an administrator. You will need to wait for an email saying that this has been done, which normally takes a day or so.
- Once you receive this email, you will be able to log into the forum using your chosen username and password giving you access to the 'members only' areas.
How do I Post messages?
You can post in the public forums now by:
- Log in to the forum
- Choosing a Category e.g. (Useful Information)
- Click on

- Type your message
- Click Submit
Please note that some categories have restrictions to only allow certain please to post to them. This is highlighted on the forum list as shown below:

How do I Reply to Messgaes?
The forum allows you to reply to message. Your reply is the displayed under the original post. You can do this by clicking
under the message you want to reply to.
