Abbey Wood scout lends a helping hand in Madagascar
A former Bexley Grammar School student has recently returned from volunteering in Madagascar.
Hannah Kentish was one of three British Scouts to make the trip to the African island.
The 23-year-old made the journey with international charity WaterAid, to provide clean water and increase the understanding of importance of good hygiene among communities.
Miss Kentish, who is the Scout Association’s UK youth commissioner, said: “It was inspiring to see the scouts working so effectively with WaterAid in Madagascar to transform lives.”
