HRH The Duchess of Cambridge is one of thousands of The Scout Association's occasional helpers, who volunteer for us on a flexible basis. On a snowy March day in Cumbria she attended a training event at Great Tower Scout Activity Centre with fellow volunteers. Here she took part in activities like fire lighting and taught Scouting skills to excited Cub Scouts. As she and all the other event attendees so ably demonstrate; volunteering with us is easy, fun and flexible. Whether you help out once a fortnight, month or term or just at events, there is a role for you, find out more.
